Paul was CEO of Kiwa from 2003 to 2023, transforming it from a local not-for-profit certification institute into a global TIC leader. Under his leadership, Kiwa grew from ~200 FTEs and €19 million revenue in the Netherlands to over 11,000 FTEs, €1.5+ billion in revenue and operating in 40 countries. Growth came through strong organic expansion and ~75 acquisitions, including key transformative deals and five refinancings. Early 2024 he stepped down as CEO, now serving as Strategy Advisor and holding several Board roles. A notable transaction under his tenure was Kiwa’s delistimg of Intega Group in Australia from the ASX in late 2021 for approx. A$380 million. followed by accelerated expansion in ANZ and USA/CAN. Earlier, between 1995-2002 he led SGS Netherlands with roles in SGS globally, and before that worked as a researcher at TNO (1989-1995). Paul holds a PhD in Biotechnology, an MSc in Biochemistry, and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Groningen (NL). Side activities included a.o. Board roles in the global TIC Council, RvA (Dutch Accreditation), Fenelab (NL lab federation).

With SGS and Intertek Brett led various divisions with both local and regional responsibility. In 2021 Brett joined Phenna Group as Managing Director of the Group’s first acquisition in the region with the duel responsibility of organic and inorganic growth and now leads a division of 18 operating companies across 9 countries.

Infracorr was recently awarded an “Outstanding Nominee” for Project of the Year at the Engineers Australia Excellence Awards 2025 for the digital twin investigation of 110 buildings at Sydney University.
